BVSTX Vegan Cooking Class

 The BVSTX will conduct an interactive vegan cooking demonstration. The class presenter will be Sherri Doucette, BVSTX President. The low-cost class is $10 for BVSTX members and $15 for BVSTX Friends. The fee will be collected at the door. PLEASE RSVP. Class space is limited, but still available.

Sherri Doucette is a native of Los Angeles, CA and a long time resident of Dallas, TX. She is currently the BVSTX President. Sherri was raised on the Standard American Diet (SAD) in a southern Louisiana family; consequently, her journey to veganism was“complicated”. Can anyone say gumbo or toffee? A proud vegan for 6 years and a vegetarian before that for 18 years, she has discovered that just about anything can be “veganized”. Sherri’s not a professionally-trained chef, but a self-admitted foodie who believes that vegan food should not just be eaten, but enjoyed - thoroughly. Sherri likes cooking for her family and friends and especially delights in the positive feedback she gets from “omnis” who are pleasantly surprised to discover that a 100% plant-based meal can be delicious and filling!
